Andrée-Ann Thomas

Me Andrée-Ann Thomas joined the corporate and transactional law team of the Sherbrooke office in 2021. Her clientele is mainly composed of small and medium-sized business executives whom she assists daily. Her mandates cover all the major stages in the life of a business: from incorporation to sale, including mergers, tax reorganizations and shareholders’ agreements.

A native of Estrie, Me Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in life sciences and law from Université de Sherbrooke. She has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2017 and has been practicing business law and taxation ever since.

Juliette Liu

With a bachelor’s degree in Economics from McGill University in 2012 and a law degree from Université de Montreal in 2015, Me Juliette Liu is a well-rounded lawyer. She works mainly in administrative investigations related to psychological and sexual harassment and discrimination. She also has expertise in professional and disciplinary law, health law and access to information cases.

Me Liu works in both English and French. She joined the Litigation Group and the Labour and Employment Group in Montreal in 2021. She has experience pleading before various instances during her career. Having had the opportunity to immerse herself in different cultures, she is open-minded and responsive to the needs of every individual.

Florence Bergeron


Expertise: business law

Me Florence Bergeron, a law graduate from University of Sherbrooke, joined the Saguenay team in 2019 in the Commercial and Corporate and Transactional groups. Indeed, she has developed an expertise in commercial law as well as in mergers and acquisitions thanks to her Master’s degree in Business Administration. Shortly before her graduation, Me Bergeron worked at Legal Support for Children and Women, a non-governmental organization in Cambodia providing free legal advice to women and children victims of crime and human trafficking.

In addition, Me Bergeron acted as a speaker in 2021 for “The different legal forms of business”, information workshops intended for entrepreneurs in the start-up or expansion phase organized by the Entrepreneurship and Spin-off Centre of Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. She was also a speaker for “Legal issues related to the takeover of a business”, training workshops for entrepreneurs or the next generation of entrepreneurs in the process of taking over a business, organized by the Centre de transfert des entreprises du Québec and Forgescom.

Mathieu Laplante-Goulet

After completing a certificate in political science and obtaining his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université Laval in Quebec City, Me Mathieu Laplante-Goulet completed his studies in Marseille, where he obtained a Master’s degree in business law specialized in sports law from Aix-Marseille Université.

Me Laplante-Goulet is an essential asset to the Montreal office’s Litigation and Professional Law Groups.  Throughout his professional career, he has developed his practice in disciplinary litigation, civil remedies of all types, extraordinary remedies, and civil liability.

He also handles cases involving administrative law, ethics and governance of non-profit organizations, constitutional law issues, entertainment law and sports law. He has developed a practice in matters involving several administrative and civil tribunals, and his clientele includes groups and associations active in the sports and recreation sector.

Audrey-Anne Alie

After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a degree in civil law, Me Audrey-Anne Alie was admitted to the Bar and joined the Drummondville team as a lawyer. She was named to the Dean’s Honour List during her studies, a unique distinction given to students who have maintained a high grade point average. When Me Alie commits to something, she follows through without sparing any effort.
