M^e Caroline Rouleau holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a joint degree in civil law and common law (BCL/JD) from McGill University. She was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2022 and joined the Municipal and Environmental Group in Saguenay, where she practices municipal, environmental, agricultural, and agri-food law.

During her studies, M^e Rouleau participated in a clinical course at the Centre québécois du droit de l’environnement where she did research and writing work with its legal clinic. She also completed a term at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where she took law and Earth sciences courses. M^e Rouleau has also worked with VIA Rail’s risk management team on projects related to the corporation’s environmental laws and regulations compliance. Since the beginning of her practice, M^e Rouleau has been involved in several cases under the jurisdiction of the Commission de protection du territoire agricole du Québec.

Demonstrating integrity, conscientiousness, and warmth, M^e Rouleau stands out for her eagerness to learn and her desire to get to the bottom of things, which sometimes leads her to question well-established ways of doing things.
