Originally from Lanaudière, Me Kevin Coutu obtained a paralegal diploma, which led him to pursue his studies in law at the University of Ottawa where he was able to put his knowledge to good use in the university pro bono program. He then completed his Bar internship in Quebec’s North Shore to join the Cain Lamarre law firm following his admission to the Bar.

A young and energetic ally of the Sept-Îles office, Me Coutu is involved in a number of files, particularly in civil litigation, Indigenous and constitutional law, transportation law, and family law. His openness, good listening skills, professionalism and thoroughness are the true ingredients of a perfect recipe which helps his clients exceed their objectives.

Me Coutu radiates self-confidence and undeniable authenticity. Endowed with a spirit of rigor and remarkable precision, he welcomes his clients and always has the mission of advising them judiciously in the best of their interests.

Always available, when Me Coutu is not in his office, he engages in a variety of activities, such as hiking, tennis, golf, cycling, and reading. Indeed, as a fan of Victor Hugo, his motto is a quote from the latter “freedom begins where ignorance ends”.
